Routinely used in pharmaceutical industry for drug development and quality control, dissolution testing is widely accepted method to understand the bioavailability of dosage forms (tablets and capsules) which, is important to understand the rate at which the tablet or capsule dissolves in the gastrointestinal tract, and releases the drug substance in the body. This bioavailability measurement process is precisely achieved by Dissolution Test Apparatus or Dissolution Tester. This instrument simulates the environment of the human gastrointestinal tract.

At Panomex Inc. our technical team has designed a range of dissolution testing instruments using industry leading technologies ensuring accurate and fast determination of dissolution properties of all types of drug products and dosage forms. These instruments comply with IP and USP specifications and suitable for pharmaceutical research and production activities.

Our dissolution test apparatus are solid state instruments that feature 20 x 4 Line alphanumeric LCD display with Backlit and 19 soft touch membrane key panel for convenient data input. User friendly prompts guide users throughout the measurement process. Depending upon type of use, these units are available with 8 and 6 station models; each model has memory storage facility up to 200 samples, data is stored in different batches and sample numbers.

These dissolution testers are supplied as complete system including machine and useful accessories such as reaction vessels with covers, acrylic tank, water bath temperature sensor, external temperature sensor (T2) for vessel, paddle, wire mesh basket, pipettes etc.

These units have three programming modes i.e. Routine, Sustain and Control modes; 20 different test methods can be performed using Routine and Sustain modes which, are retained in the memory even after machine is switched off. Provision to attach a dot matrix printer has been given; reports of stored setups and test results can be printed.

These systems equipped with microprocessor circuit to deliver highly convenient and fast testing procedure. In case of power failure, when instrument is switched ON again, it gives an option to user to start the test from the point, where it has stopped.
