Single & Multi Angle Gloss Meter

Panomex Digital Gloss Meter is designed to accurately measure various gloss parameters, including coating thickness, substrate quality, and surface smoothness during polishing and finishing processes. From matte finishes to mirror-like surfaces, these gloss meters help ensure consistent quality control and eliminate common surface-related defects.

Gloss measurement is performed by directing a light beam with a wavelength similar to that perceived by the human eye. Panomex gloss meters support measurements at 20°, 45°, 60°, and 85° angles. The 60° angle is considered universal for most applications, while the 20° angle offers enhanced sensitivity for high-gloss surfaces above 70 gloss units.

Manufactured in compliance with ASTM D4039 international standards, Panomex Gloss Meters can also automatically calculate Haze values (available in dual-angle and triple-angle models). These instruments are ideal for use in paint, coating, plastic, printing, automotive, and surface finishing industries, delivering precise, repeatable, and reliable results.
