Portable Leaf Meter, Leaf Area Index Meter

Panomex BSLM101 Leaf Area Meter is a portable scanning instrument designed for use in both field and laboratory environments to measure leaf area index accurately. This leaf area meter is fast, durable, and ideal for non-destructive whole-leaf area measurement, including analysis of leaf disease areas and related parameters. It is widely used in environmental and agricultural applications such as ecology, plant physiology, agronomy, carbon cycle studies, plant pathology, and entomology.

The Panomex leaf area meter features real-time image display of scanned leaves, with measurement data stored in a large internal memory. Users can view leaf area results in millimeters, centimeters, or inches, as required. Measurements and images can be reviewed directly on the instrument’s display or downloaded to a PC for further analysis and documentation. An internal backup battery ensures complete data security.

Compact and lightweight, the Panomex BSLM101 allows leaf area measurement while the leaf remains attached to the plant and is capable of measuring multiple leaf parameters. The system is equipped with an RS232C interface for data transfer to a printer or computer and includes a high-contrast LCD display, microprocessor, dedicated software, data cable, battery pack, charger, and handheld scanner, making it a complete and reliable solution for plant research and analysis.
