Kjeldahl Digestion Distillation Unit
Panomex Kjeldahl Apparatus is used for the determination of organic nitrogen (N₂) and protein content in chemical substances using the Kjeldahl digestion method. These systems are widely utilized in food analysis, environmental testing, fertilizer (urea) industries, and chemical laboratories.
A thorough understanding of the Kjeldahl nitrogen estimation process is essential for accurate system design. Panomex manufactures space-saving Kjeldahl systems in which the digestion and distillation units are combined for efficient laboratory operation. These apparatus are available with 3 or 6 mantle-type heating units, each fitted with an individual energy regulator for precise temperature control.
All components are mounted on a robust powder-coated mild steel (MS) frame, ensuring durability and long service life. Each unit can accommodate 300 ml, 500 ml, and 800 ml Kjeldahl flasks, offering flexibility for different testing volumes. To enhance operator convenience and safety, Panomex also supplies a wide range of optional accessories, including glassware, clamps, lead fume ducts, and condenser racks.
Available in open-type as well as hooded combination designs, Panomex Kjeldahl Apparatus systems can be custom-designed to meet specific customer requirements, delivering reliable performance, ergonomic operation, and compliance with laboratory standards.
