Laboratory Vortex Mixer, Fixed & Variable Speed Vortex Shaker

Panomex has developed a comprehensive range of Laboratory Vortex Mixers featuring noiseless orbital motion of the rubber cup along with multiple accessories and attachments. Commonly known as vortex shakers or vortex mixers, these instruments are available with fixed and variable speed control, offering speeds of up to 2800 RPM.

Panomex vortex mixer shakers are designed to meet most routine and advanced mixing requirements in laboratories. The direct motor drive design makes these units compact, stable, and highly portable. Each model is engineered with a specific speed range. The Panomex BST/VM-501 model offers two operating modes:

• Touch Mode at 2800 RPM for rapid mixing and larger tubes

• Continuous Mode for uninterrupted mixing at a lower speed of 1000 RPM

In continuous mode, users do not need to manually adjust speed, which helps prevent sample adapter spin-off during operation. This vortex mixer is supplied with a standard rubber cup for touch mixing and a plastic adapter compatible with different foam formats. Customers can also order additional foam inserts suitable for various vial and tube sizes, depending on application needs.
